Nixa Council PTA Founders Day
Nixa Council held their Founders Day event in February. There was a great turn out and surprising guest with their Distinguished Service Awards was a highlight of the program!

Kansas PTA and Missouri PTA Partner
Missouri PTA recently teamed up with the Kansas PTA for the Kansas Early Childhood Conference held February 20,2010 at the Indian Creek Technology center in Shawnee Mission, KS. The theme for the conference was "Together We Can". Some highlights of the day were a keynote by National PTA CEO Byron Garrett, breakouts session that included;Parents Rights,Sharing POWER!, Uniqueness of Early Childhood Experience, Urban Intiative, Best Practices for Early Childhood Units, and Value of PTA membership.
It is great to work cooperatively with neighboring states, since "Alone we can do so little, but together we can do so much". Thanks to the Kansas PTA for a wonderful conference and the hospitality.
